Marquees are a great option if you want your wedding reception in your own garden or that of a willing parent or friend. Some hotels and wedding venues allow marquees in the grounds - adding another dimension to the wedding photographs. While the thought of planning your marquee wedding may be intimidating, the benefits of having a reception tailored to your exact requirements can be hugely rewarding.

The light quality in a marquee for the wedding photographer is beautiful and soft - giving lovely flattering images - and there is something so romantic and personal about a marquee.
 
In general most marquee weddings will involve four suppliers: the marquee company, the caterers, the florist and a DJ or band. Of course you will want to contact all the other suppliers associated with your wedding such as transportation and a wedding photographer of course!
